The Essential Doll Hairbrush has been designed to care for the hair of dolls, both rooted hair and wigged hair to prevent damage and help the hair last for years to come. What is special about this brush, is that it is made with straight steel pins. Hairbrushes with balls at the end of the pins can rip the hair out of hand tied wigs by getting caught in the knot. With synthetic hair a straight metal pin brush is best to prevent damage.
The Essential Doll Hairbrush has a lightweight wooden handle, with a red cushion pad in which the straight metal pins are embedded. It has a little hole in the cushion pad to allow the circulation of air. It is 23cm/ 9" in length and 6.5cm/ 2.5" in width and is very comfortable to hold.
You will find that the brush is extremely effective at detangling doll hair and returning it to its smooth knot-free state.
For most dolls you can also use a spray bottle, filled with a little water (or watered down mild fabric conditioner) to help smooth the hair whilst brushing and styling.
Air-cushion pads allow the pins to be kind to the hair. Please note that there is a small air hole in the cushion pad for this to be effective.
