Joel is made of soft vinyl with a fabric abdomen for cuddling. He wears a blue and white knitted romper suit and a hat with a pom pom. His clothing is appliqued with a rabbit and he comes with scarf, socks and a blue knitted blanket too.
His sparkling eyes are blue and framed by fibre eyelashes along the top eyelid. His eyebrows, cheeks and mouth are very naturally painted, realistic to a newborn baby. His mouth is ajar so that his dummy can be placed inside. He cries and says 'mama, papa' when he needs attention.
